Our Story
The family winery was founded in 2018 by the Egoyan couple in the village of Aratashen in the Ararat Valley.
The Beginning
As always, everything began with love and a dream: to create wine from indigenous Armenian grapes, grown on the native soil that still remembers the feeling when the vine fills with divine nectar, infused with love and memory. The family winery was founded in 2018 by the Egoyan couple in the village of Aratashen in the Ararat Valley, near the famous archaeological site where 8000-year-old grape seeds were discovered.
Today
Today, the vineyards span 10 hectares, cultivating the Armenian indigenous varieties Areni and Voskehat. By the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025, the vineyard is planned to expand to 15 hectares. In 2023, first harvest, and in 2024, the first wines, the winery's first breath, the red "Shunch" from Areni and the white "Shunch" from Voskehat.
